THE TECHNICAL GUIDE

To answer the questions I receive most often, I have prepared a completely free technical guide for you.

Whether you are a beginner or experienced, this technical guide will help you prepare your files for mastering and gain confidence with your mixes.

  • • Format : .wav or .aif

    Compressed formats like mp3 will be refused.

    ​

    • Bit depth : 24bits or more. If you send your mixes in 16 bits you wont receive high resolution masters.

    ​

    • Sample rate : keep the same as in your mixing session.

    ​

  • Ideally between -3 and -6db.

    However, even if your mix hits -1db it's not really a problem. The most important thing is that it does not exceed 0db.

  • This varies depending on demand. In general, for a single, it can be done in 24 to 48 hours . For a longer project (EP, Album, etc...), the mastering can be done on average in 2 to 4 days.

     

    If you have a short deadline, do not hesitate to let me know when you contact me, I will prioritize your project.

  • Via a wetransfer or dropbox link. For files exceeding 2GB, do not hesitate to use swisstransfer.

     

    Once you have your link, you can send it to me with the contact form.
